Hi everybody.
I must say that I'd forgotten just how tired you get with a new born baby around, hence the title of this post![]()
I want to appologise to all my friends on here. It's only today, having logged on to put this post up that I realised (mainly due to reading a friends only post by Sketchweasel) that I haven't been reading any of my friends blogs on here for ages, not even the friends only posts. I got so caught up in the baby and my own stuff that I completely forgot about you guys, and I really want to say sorry. I hope to be able to get on her a bit more regularly now that Pete's starting to fall into some sort of routine and so will try to keep up with what's going on with all of you.
We've had a few people coming to visit us since Pete was born, and are trying arrange good times for others to come round as well as sort out dates for health visitors, doctors, regestration and benefit appointments.
Pete is doing well, we had a visit from the health visitor yeaterday and everything seems to be fine right now. Niki is getting better but still feeling the strains of the whole birth experience and just feeling tired sometimes. I'm doing ok apart from also feeling tired sometimes, although it appears that I'm the one who is starting to get the post-natal depression sysmptoms at the moment
D
I've managed to record a version of Deep Purple's 'Smoke On The Water' (most of which was done before Pete was born) with the help of Mr Kelly and I will be putting up on the Kizlode MySpace site today, so please have a listen and let me know what you think.
Anyway, that about all from me right now
