YAAAWWWNNN!

by Kizlode @ 29/08/07 - 11:09:34

Hi everybody.

I must say that I'd forgotten just how tired you get with a new born baby around, hence the title of this post :D

I want to appologise to all my friends on here. It's only today, having logged on to put this post up that I realised (mainly due to reading a friends only post by Sketchweasel) that I haven't been reading any of my friends blogs on here for ages, not even the friends only posts. I got so caught up in the baby and my own stuff that I completely forgot about you guys, and I really want to say sorry. I hope to be able to get on her a bit more regularly now that Pete's starting to fall into some sort of routine and so will try to keep up with what's going on with all of you.

We've had a few people coming to visit us since Pete was born, and are trying arrange good times for others to come round as well as sort out dates for health visitors, doctors, regestration and benefit appointments.

Pete is doing well, we had a visit from the health visitor yeaterday and everything seems to be fine right now. Niki is getting better but still feeling the strains of the whole birth experience and just feeling tired sometimes. I'm doing ok apart from also feeling tired sometimes, although it appears that I'm the one who is starting to get the post-natal depression sysmptoms at the moment :DD

I've managed to record a version of Deep Purple's 'Smoke On The Water' (most of which was done before Pete was born) with the help of Mr Kelly and I will be putting up on the Kizlode MySpace site today, so please have a listen and let me know what you think.

Anyway, that about all from me right now

Hey, you shouldn't have joined if you couldn't take a joke!

No worries, I'm sure that when you're not busy you're catching up on sleep!

I will check out MySpace later, can't do sound at the moment as they're doing resits just across from me!

Glad to hear everything is going well with the ankle-biter.

Hugs xx

Jo and I want to come over at some stage, I remember all that not sleeping malarky!

And your seeing another guitarist!

Gasp!

How could you.

Well OK I know exactly how, its not like you've seen a lot of me lately. And for that I am sorry. But your probably not.
;)

Oh I remember that well, wouldn't want to go back there either:)

Been meaning to phone but I know how precious sleep is when baby is sleeping:)

Hugs to you all

You certainly have good reason for your absence. Babies tend to take over when they arrive.

I saw the piccy of you looking at your beautiful son and it truly was a sight to behold. Simply lovely, heartwarming and all that stuff.

Hope Niki is doing better each day. I would love to see pics of Pete as he gets on. I could be his cyber Aunty or something!

Much love and hugs to you, Niki and Pete
